Just as water is essential throughout the day for humans,
cats also need access to clean water at all times.
A cat can survive without food for days, losing up to 40 percent of its body weight. However a loss of body water through dehydration of only 10 to 15 percent can be fatal. So be sure your cat has plenty of clean, fresh water easily available at all times.
